ABOUT US  

• BACK IN 1957 when Boatarama first opened it doors by Bill Bost and his father in Fort Lauderdale, South East Florida had yet to  emerge as the vacation capital of the world  

•  Mr. Bost and his father began Manufacture their own line of boats, making it affordable for everyone to own a boat, this became the mission of Boatarama, "AFFORDABLE BOATING FOR ALL". 

•  It was back in the late 60's and early 70's that Boatarama tried something never tried before, selling a BOAT, MOTOR AND TRAILER AS A PACKAGE. 

• Early Mid 70s  Bayliner Boats was in the middle of tremendous growth and asked Boatarama to represent them in SE Florida.

•  Bayliner Agreed for the first time ever sell a complete package, BOAT, MOTOR AND TRAILER Boatarama accepted this offer, thus starting a over 20 year relationship with Bayliner.

•  Boatarama, eventually grew into three locations serving all of Palm Beach Broward and Dade counties, which today is known as SE Florida and climbed to be  the #3 Bayliner dealer in the world averaging more then a boat a day  in sales.  In addition to selling boats, Boatarama had a 10,000 square foot retail store selling marine parts and accessories

• In the late 90s Boatarama starting seeing a decline in boat market place, costs continued to rise and Bayliner was acquired by Brunswick.  New  Corporate policies forced Boatarama to drop the Bayliner line of Boats.

•  In late 2001 Boatarama, although carrying other boat lines, decided to start our Ecommerce store, BOATARAMA DIRECT to sell off our huge selection of new and used Boat parts and accessories on E-bay

• 2005 we began purchasing wholesale lots of merchandise to be sold on our e-commerce store

• In 2006 We made our first major acquisition of marine closeouts

•  January 2008 made a decision to make E-Commerce and E-bay our business.  Today with our relationship Empire Marketing Group, a buy direct factory, we are able to offer quality manufactured products at low prices....
